The socks are knitted exclusively in Filcolana Peruvian, a soft, 100% wool yarn made from Peruvian highland sheep. Mulesing is not used on the sheep.
No turtles were harmed in the making of these socks.
Measurements and care instructions:
The socks measure approx. 23 cm/9 inches from the back of the heel to the tip of the toe and approx. 13 cm/5 inches across the sole. The circumference of the cuff and leg is approx. 12.5 cm/9.8 inches. All measurements were taken flat.
The model wears a shoe size EUR 43/US 9.5 (men) or 12.5 (women).
Please note that the socks can feel a bit tight around the ankle when slipping on and off, but once they’re properly on the foot, they’re quite snug and comfy.
Air the socks regularly, and clean them when needed by either hand washing or machine wash on a gentle cycle, with wool detergent. Roll them into a towel to dry or air dry on a rack.
