His hand painted glass eyes sparkle in the light and give the sculpture great character. Even the claws and teeth have been individually sculpted using wool and beeswax.
The wings have been made using the process of wet felting which gives a beautiful texture, lightness and translucency.
This stunning sculpture is able to be gently posed with the wings outstretched or folded and has taken over 100 hours to make.
NB. Pocket bacon not included!
Care Instructions:
Display away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
Keep away from moisture and water.
Avoid sticky items such as velcro which will snag the surface.
Treat gently when posing, do not force into extreme postures.
Keep out of reach of pets and children.
Keep away from moths.
If sculpture gets dusty it can be brushed lightly with a soft make-up or paint brush.
If your sculpture does get damaged, please contact me as most things are easy to repair.
