People have tried to settle it multiple times, from the modern half-built city at base of the mountain to the ancient temple close to the summit. Each attempt ended the same way: the structures were abandoned, leaving them to slowly erode away with the march of time.
The mountain itself is a treacherous climb, with dubious ledges, strong winds, and crumbling handholds all aiming to send climbers plunging down into the abyss. Many an aspiring climber began their trek to the peak only to turn back or lose their lives, rebuffed by the mountain's many hazards.
When you arrived at the trailhead, you encountered an old lady who gave you yet another warning:
"You might see things.
"Things you ain't ready to see."
She had to have just been messing with you though, right?
Take a deep breath, and start the climb.
