This resin painting features Pokémon hand sculpted from polymer clay and lovingly painted with acrylic and oil paints. The canvas background was painted in acrylics before it was covered in 5 separate layers of epoxy resin each involving different pigments to create the 3D effect of water. The Pokémon were embedded at different points in the process to help the 3D illusion of depth and look like they are actually swimming!
