This blanket was made with over 200 squishy granny squares which were slip stitched together to create a textured "wrong side." It is so soft and warm that its crafter Marisha constantly had to battle the desire to take a nap once the project was big enough to cover her legs.
Technically, the yarn label says that this blanket is machine mashing and drying. However, Marisha recommends sticking to a gentle washing cycle and to only use low temperatures in the dryer. Hanging the project to dry would be the best choice. High agitation in a machine may damage the stitches and high temperatures may scorch the fabric.
The blanket is made from acrylic yarn and measures 190cm X 190cm (will stretch).
