Silent Auction Description There are legends that speak of a flower that was not, a lotus born of blood and artifice. A plant that grew of no pool of water, but tapped into the very mana of the multiverse. The Black Lotus, its very name stirs the souls of planeswalkers.

There are few cards in Magic: The Gathering with more myths and legends that surround them then those that follow the Black Lotus. In reality it is a rare card from the alpha set that lets you slam a four drop or combo on turn one. Thats prettygood dot gif, but can it truly explain its price tag?

Legends speak of a warehouse fires, or a guy who had stockpiled the "worthless" card and then his basement flooded ruining 2/3rds of Black Lotus's in existence. Lotuses.... Lotusi... (I should look that up later)

It was the card that was printed large and shoved in shop windows, calling you to stores that smelled faintly of modeling glue and stale Mountain Dew.

Its power in and outside of the game is legendary, and now you can put an homage to this mysterious artifact in your very own home. A one of a kind hand-crafted Black Lotus.

And what is this wondrous item made of? Well in the words of the crafter, Walnut, Cherry, Maple, Ebonized Rhododendron, Brass Fittings, Neodymium magnets, Resin, Purple Glow Resin, Amaranth Stain, Japanese Mulberry Bookbinding Paper, Purple Aniline Dye, India Ink, Tung oil, Natural Bee's Wax Paste Wax, Titebond III Ultimate Wood Glue, PMC Glue, Hot Glue, E6000 Glue, Felt, UV LEDs, 5mm 12v Jack Plug, 12v AC->DC Converter Plug-in, Various Lengths of Wire, Solder, pretty sure I sweated and maybe bled a little on it at some point, time, words of power I dare not utter here, I think a ghost might have crawled in it at some point... idk my garage is pretty spooky. It measures 11x11x6 inches (or 27.94 x 27.94 x 15.24 cm for everyone whose government wasn't successfully lobbied by manufacturing giants in the 1900's).

Craft-Along? Yep!
